The puppies are officially entering their “high activity, low respect for personal space” phase 🐾😄

Everything is becoming a game now, especially for those who are convinced that life is best experienced at full speed and with teeth involved 🐶💨 They are getting very active, tumbling over each other, testing balance, and discovering that the world is not only to be explored but also occasionally wrestled into submission 🤼‍♂️😂

Mama Chianti is still doing her best with nursing, but the sessions are getting shorter. I’m sure those little teeth coming through and the sharp little nails digging in like they are trying to secure a last meal make her very aware that motherhood has entered its more enthusiastic stage 😅 I do cut their nails, but they still managed to walk over my hand and I felt those tiny little needles, so I can only imagine how Chianti feels. She handles it with patience, but you can see she is starting to negotiate timing like a seasoned diplomat 🕊️

And the personalities are starting to show in the sweetest way.

There are tiny growls now 🐾😆 Little experimental barks 🐶 And sometimes they will practice both right in the middle of sleep like they are already rehearsing arguments for later in life 😴😂 It honestly makes me smile every time.

Even the food bowl is no longer just a food bowl 🍽️ It is a playground, a social gathering spot, and occasionally a wrestling ring 🤪 Because of course it is. Why eat politely when you can turn dinner into an event?

We are right in that beautiful in-between stage where they are still so small, but already fully convinced they run the world 👑🐾
